Norfolk County was named after the original county in England, the name originates from the meaning “northern folk.” Norfolk County is one of the wealthiest counties in the United States. With a median household income of $81, 899, the small county is full of ambitious hard working citizens. Norfolk County was created on March 26, 1793 when Governor John Hancock signed it into legislation. The county is also famous for being the birthplace for four U.S. Presidents: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John F. Kennedy and George W.
